The Fascinating History of Coffee: From Ethiopia to the World

Coffee, a beverage that has become an integral part of our daily routines, has a rich and fascinating history that spans centuries. The story begins in Ethiopia, where coffee was first discovered by nomadic tribes who noticed the energizing effects it had on their goats.

It wasn't until around 1600s when England's King Charles II returned from exile with his Turkish wife Catherine de Braganza did things change dramatically. She introduced him to her favorite beverage - Turkish Coffee!
